EEN DOOIE MUS

Currently working on a ‘Een Dooie Mus’ which makes visible what we prefer to ignore; dead animals and discarded waste.

It all started when I began to collect dead animals, found on the streets on the most ordinary places, left behind. After a while I began to see similar shapes in found trash and started collecting them too. Now I have a growing collection (221 and counting) which, unfortunately, will never stop.

Some day, I will put them all together in one book.

I LOVE HOME

Something usually passed by becomes part of the interior, forcing everybody to see it. The sad and uncomfortable meets the cheerful language of home decoration on a doormat.
